William Bill Jacob Felker, 53 of Hoch Road, Marion,
Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday morning January 26, 2014. Bill was untied in marriage with his wife of nineteen years Bonnie Perrego Felker on April 1, 1994.
Bill was a 1979 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and after graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Moosebrugger. In August of 2010 Bill and Bonnie and their children Jacob and Paige purchased and operated the Hickory Groove Lake Campground in Marion Ohio.
Bill was well known within the community and was involved in his childrens activities. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed time with his family, friends and campers and specially hunting with his longtime friend Bob Rau.
Preceding him in death was his maternal grandfather Harold Ray, paternal grandparents William and Marion Benscoter, father-in-law Albert Emerson Perrego and brother-in-law William D. Ball.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Jacob Felker stationed with the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell Kentucky, daughter Paige Felker at home, parents Jacob Skip and Margaret Felker of Tunkhannock, mother-in-law Karen Perrego of Clearwater, Fla., sisters Cindy Ball, Michaelle and Jeff Cox, Brenda and Chris Mills all of Tunkhannock, brother Bob and Kathi Felker of Scott Township. Sister-in-law Barbie and Chuck Crane of Dallas, brother-in-law Alan Perrego of California, numerous nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews and aunts, uncles. Also surviving his is close friend and wife Bob and Mary Rau of Tunkhannock and first wife Kim Felker of Tunkhannock.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 3 from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Pastor Doug Mills officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until the time of service. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
