Wheaton D. Fassett

Wheaton D. Fassett, Jr. of Forkston Township died on Tuesday. He was born in Meshoppen, on June 30, 1959, son of the late Wheaton and Daisy Farr Fassett, Sr. He worked as a Laborer at Donnora Fireworks, Inc. in Forkston Township. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark Fassett who died on February 14, 2011. Surviving are three sons: David Fassett of Larksville, Eric Melan of Tunkhannock, and Keith Newhart of Jenningsville, brothers: Allen G. Fassett of Meshoppen and Tim Fassett, of Meshoppen and sister Kathy Hamner of Kirkwood, NY. 6 grandchildren several aunts uncles nieces nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., and Tunkhannock. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
