Walter E. Franz

Walter (Big Red) E. Franz, 62, of Falls, PA died peacefully, Sunday, August 7th at Regional Hospital of Scranton following a lengthy illness. Born January 10, 1949 in Waterbury CT, he was the son of the late Walter E and Lois J. Morgan Franz Sr. A graduate of Tunkhannock High School, he worked as a truck driver for many businesses and his last job was with Emanon Country Club in Falls, PA. Walter is survived by his sisters Dora Reynolds and Holly Bonning both of Falls, a niece Ondried Reynolds, a nephew Michael Reynolds, a great niece and nephew Destiny and Jaylen, and Aunt and Uncle Virginia and Jimmy Inglinma of Falls. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 13th at 11 am at the Church of Christ in Harding PA with Bob Show officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA.
