Vergie Grace Sickler

Vergie Grace Sickler of Overfield Township died on Wednesday in the Greenly's Personal Care Home in Tunkhannock. She was born in Falls on March 17, 1916, daughter of the late Wesley and Bessie Rogers Reeves. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Braniada Reeves and Eva Lee Kenian. Surviving are two sons: Barry Sickler of Factoryville, PA and Bruce N. Sickler of Sardis, TN, one sister: Ida Swartwood of IL, as well as five grandchildren, Sherie, Nathan, Diane, Craig, and Charley. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 6:00 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Pastor Joan S. Dodson of the Falls United Methodist Church officiating . Friends and family may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 5 – 6 pm. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola.
