Valeda I. Boner

Valeda I. Boner, 69, of Wood Rd, Springville Township, died Wednesday, April 27th at Geisinger Medical Center Danville. Born in Meshoppen August 24, 1941 she was the daughter of the late William Milton and Selma Gansereit Stang. Valeda was a member of the Lemon Ladies Aide and Springville Ladies Auxiliary. She loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed watching birds and gardening. She was preceded in death by her infant son Joseph Boner. Surviving are sons: John and wife Mavourneen Boner and David and wife Sarah Boner all of Springville; daughter Mary Lou and husband Mark Clark of Springville; brothers Milton, Louis, Dean, and Pete Stang all of Lemon, 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St, Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Lynn Cemetery.
