Thomas Severcool of Tunkhannock died at his home on Friday evening April 3, 2015. He was born in Edwardsville on January 6, 1932 son of the late Henry and Emily Morris Severcool.
Tom was a member of the Lemon United Methodist Church, Factoryville Lodge #347 F&AM , Scranton Consistory and other Masonic Orders. A member of the Tunkhannock Odd Fellows Lodge #699, Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star Chapter 74. He was preceded in death by his first wife Joan Lewis Severcool, his second wife Barbara McKinney Severcool, son David Severcool, daughters Karen Bowman, Irene Comstock and step son Kenneth Smith. Sister Delaine Myers, ½ sister Betty Stephenson.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years Shirley J. Harvey Severcool. Sons, Thomas H., of Factoryville, Michael of Rush, Clinton of Vermont, and Daughter Joan Newhart of Lake Winola. .

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 3 pm from the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church with Pastor Margie MaCarty of the East Lemon United Methodist Church. Family and friends may call at the church from 1 pm until the time service. Masonic Services and Eastern Star services will included in the funeral services.
