Thomas Kropa

Thomas A. Kropa, 67, of Springville passed away peacefully Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the home he built surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Marlene (Shevchuk) Kropa.

Born on March 23, 1956 in Kingston, he is the son of the late William and Naomi (Borove) Kropa.

He graduated from Elk Lake High School in 1974 and went on to further his studies at Penn Tech, graduating in 1976.

He was an avid outdoorsman, he found comfort in the beauty of nature while hunting and fishing. His love for farming and woodworking reflected his appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship.

One of Thomas' proudest accomplishments was his unwavering faith. He found great joy in attending church.

Thomas was known for his strong devotion to his family. His role as a loving husband, a caring father, and a doting grandfather defined him as a true family man. Those who knew him will remember the warmth of his presence and the sincerity of his love.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Kristy Buchman and husband James, Samantha Davis and husband Herman; stepdaughter, Stacy Robinson; brothers, Ron and Carl Kropa; grandchildren, Aria, Adalind, Beau Buchman, Brynleigh and Nalani Davis; several nieces.

He is preceded in death by brother, Billy Kropa.

Family and friends are invited to attend Thomas' funeral service which will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 6:00PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor Joe Billingsley presiding.

A viewing will be held from 4:00PM until the time of service on Thursday.
