Shelley Lynn Savage-Cook

Shelley Lynn Savage-Cook, 40, formerly of Tunkhannock, died Friday, December 17, 2010, at Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, after a lengthy illness. Shelley was born and raised in Orange County, Calif.. She is the daughter of Gregg and Carolyn (Oakey) Savage, Westminster, Calif. Shelley had a deep love for animals. Her daughter, Karyn, was the light of her life. Shelley was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Savage. Surviving, along with her parents, is her husband Kevin D. Cook, Mehoopany; daughter Karyn Savage-Cook, Mehoopany; brother Gregg Thomas, Fullerton, Calif.; and mother and father-in-law, Trudy and David Cook, Tunkhannock. Two nephews, Collin and Mason Savage, also survive. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010, at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
