Rosemarie Harty

Rosemarie Harty, 62, of Scranton passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born on June 26, 1962 in Goshen, NY, she is the daughter of Mea Hamil and the late Oliver Marshall.

Rosemarie was known for her warm smile, a testament of her joyful spirit and positive outlook on life. Her laughter and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. She had an exceptional ability to connect with others, creating moments of joy and understanding that encouraged those around her to see the beauty in life.

Her proudest accomplishment centered around her deep love for her family, especially her granddaughters. Rosemarie's greatest joy came from the precious time spent with them, fostering cherished memories that will be carried forward by her loved ones.

She is survived by daughters, Samantha Schuster and fiancé Lance, Marie Rose; brothers, Edward and Johnny Harty; granddaughters, Harley and Jasmine Schuster.

She is preceded in death by brother, Joseph Harty.

Family and friends are invited to attend Rosemarie's funeral service which will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 5:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.

A viewing will be held from 4:00PM until the time of service on Monday.
