Robert E. Cumens of Eaton Terrace Tunkhannock passed away on Monday at the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. He was born September 25, 1932 in Coatesville son of the late Paul G. and Mildred A. Needham Cumens.
He was a 1951 graduate of Scotts High School in Coatesville and was co-owner of Onawandah Camp Ground in Tunkhannock and for 26 years was co-owner of T-Town Sheds in Tunkhannock. He continued working for another 10 years after the change of ownership. He was a member of the Eaton Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and the special times he spent with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother Carter Cumens.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years Rose Molnar Cumens, sons Robert K. and wife Debbie Cumens of Springville, Chris Jescavage of Tunkhannock, daughter Dawn and husband Mike Madden of Tunkhannock, brothers; Paul of Parkesburg PA, Ira of Downingtown, and Gary of Coatesville and four grandchildren Douglas, Marissa, Casey, and Edward.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 pm from the Eaton Baptist Church with Pastor Kurt Bricker officiating. Interment will be in South Eaton Cemetery in South Eaton.
