Robert Belcher

Robert D. Belcher, 65, of Tunkhannock passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at home. He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Carol Belcher in 2021.

Born on July 16, 1959 in Sayre, PA, he is the son of Robert L. Belcher and the late Betty (Howard) Belcher.

Bob attended Tunkhannock High School. He began his long and rewarding career at the Tire Barn in Tunkhannock, starting at the young age of 17, where he and Ernie King became lifelong friends. He devoted himself to this establishment from 1975 until 2020, demonstrating commitment and skill that earned him the respect of his colleagues and customers alike. In November 2022, he joined, Carquest, where he continued to make lasting contributions.

Bob was not only known for his commitment to his work but also for his deep love for his family. An avid sports enthusiast, Robert took great joy in watching and supporting his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins.

He is survived by daughter, Bobbi Sue Belcher of Monroe Twp.; siblings, Kathy Buckingham, Marylou Salsman, Kenny Belcher; grandson, Brandon Belcher.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
