Richard D. Cleveland

Richard D. Cleveland of Tunkhannock died on Saturday April 17th at home. He was born in Tunkhannock on June 10, 1919, son of the late Edward and Tamar Ayres Cleveland. He was an Army veteran and a 1938 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. He was employed at Gays True Value for over 50 years in the sporting goods department and also worked at Mosses Service Station, Tunkhannock and for MacCreary Concrete in Tunkhannock. He was a member of the Eaton Baptist Church for over 60 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen. Surviving are nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 10:00 am from the Eaton Baptist Church, Tunkhannock, with Pastors Brian Hill of the Eaton Baptist Church and Guy Rathmill officiating. Interment was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Arrangements by Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St.,Tunkhannock. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Eaton Baptist Church, 820 S SR 29, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
