Rebekah Elaine Ralph

Rebekah Elaine Ralph, 45, of Meshoppen passed away Friday January 14, 2022 at Hospice of the Scared Heart, Dunmore. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Patrick Ralph. Born in Stroudsburg, PA on June 25, 1976. She is survived by her parents Lyle and Anna Jenetta Berger Smith of Effort, PA. She was a member of the Mehoopany Baptist Church where she helped out with Sunday school and junior church. She was a 1995 graduate of Pleasant Valley high school. She was graduated from Monroe County Votech with a degree in horticultor FFA and as a certified nurses aid. She worked in several nursing homes for 10 years then was a homemaker for 15 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Dustin, Luke, David, and Adian; daughter, Jenna; brothers, Joel of Mt. Joy and Larry Smith of Wilkes-Barre; sister, Rachel Smith of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law, Patricia Agron of Binghamton, NY, Rose Callis of Lebanon, PA, Maxine and Carl Owen of Laceyville; bother-in-law, William Gulick, III. of Scranton; nieces, Alicia, Andrea, Nicole, Grace; nephews, Kyle, Cameron, Conor, Gavin, and Eli; great niece, Gracelynn Carlin; great nephew, Garrett Carlin; maternal grandmother, Anna Mae Berger; aunt, Katie Detrick and husband Robert; uncle, John Franklin Berger, Jr. and wife Heather. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Guy M. Smith and John Franklin Berger, Sr.; grandmother, Jennie Smith; great grandfather, John Williams Davis, Sr.; great grandmother, Lydia Miller Davis; niece, Samantha Carlin. Family and friends are invited to attend Rebekah’s funeral service which will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 10:00am from the Mehoopany Baptist Church, 4301 PA-87, Mehoopany, PA 18629 with Pastor Seth Macaluso presiding. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. A viewing will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Friday January 21, 2022 at Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
