Phyllis A. Colavitti of Tunkhannock died Tuesday at Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Virgil Colavitti.
She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on July 23, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Fagan Baenen.
Phyllis enjoyed working in her garden planting flowers, quilting, doing crossword puzzles, camping trips with her grandchildren, and watching the birds and wildlife. Most of all, she cherished her family.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law David and wife Erika, of Tunkhannock, Christopher and wife Lisa, of Tunkhannock, and Dana and wife Joey, of Portland, Oregon; daughter and son-in-law Laurie Mace and husband Bill, of Tunkhannock; daughters Lisa, of Tunkhannock, and Amy, of Tunkhannock; grandchildren Jennifer Mace, Lindsay and husband Luke Swick, Javier and Erick Perez, and Matthew and Joseph Colavitti; great-grandchildren Kayla and James Gavek; sisters Janet and husband Robert Nichols, and Marlene and husband James Demro.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with a Mass of Christian Burial from the Church of Nativity BVM, Tunkhannock, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
