Patrick J. Waardenburg 43, of Forkston Twp died Tuesday evening March 19. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Angie Krause Waardenburg.
He was born in Ridgewood New Jersey on January 6 1970 son of John Waardenburg, of Bradenton, Florida and the late Linda Ross Waardenburg.
Pat was a 1988 graduate of the Tunkhannock high School he was employed by The Masonic Village in Dallas, PA, he was member of Temple Lodge No.248 in Tunkhannock.
Pat was very passionate about music, playing, writing, and singing with local bands at many various venues. However, it was not uncommon for him to bring out his guitar and share at family and friends gatherings outside by the campfire. He had many different talents working with his hands such as woodworking, building a stonewall, making his famous BBQ ribs. You would also hear his stories about the outdoors, his hunting, fishing, canoeing, four wheeling, or his traveling with his wife Angie or Blondie as he would call her to the NASCAR races or just exploring many different states from coast to coast. One of Pats favorite stops was Gettysburg to the civil war battle field. He enjoyed the history of the battles and the sights. He was a loving, caring and helpful person who would be there when you needed him no matter what. He touched many people and will be deeply missed.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ted Waardenburg and Jack Ross, grandmother Ida Waardenburg, great grandmothers Frances Anderson and Margaret Roberts and by his cousin Jamie Dickson.
He is survived by his Step Mother Nancy, of Bradenton, Florida, son Tice Patrick, of Tunkhannock, sister and brother in law Wendy and Harold Jr. Miller of Tunkhannock, grandmother Joycelyn Ross and nieces Krystle and Makinsey Evans, Kennedy and Rosie Miller, and nephews Ben and Jacob Spencer.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga Street Tunkhannock with Pastor Lori Robinson. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
