Neil S. Lane

Neil S. Lane, 56, of Tunkhannock died on Wednesday in the Mercy Hospital in Scranton. He was born in Meshoppen, PA. on April 15, 1953 son of the late Roger and Esther Strickland Lane. He was a 1971 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and worked as a Technician at Procter & Gamble. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1276 serving as Jr. Governor in 2009. Neil liked being outside, woodworking and spending time at Lake Carey. He was always working on small engines and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. Surviving is his wife of 35 years Arlene (Rezykowski) Lane, one son: Neil Lane, Jr. and fiancé Nadine Loncosky of Tunkhannock, PA., two daughters: Amy and husband Bill Melan, and Kelly and husband Terry Jerauld all of Tunkhannock, four brothers: Dale and Craig of Tunkhannock, Loren of Missouri, and David Devries of Georgia, one sister: Gilda Lane of Tunkhannock, grandchildren: Haley and Eddie Melan of Tunkhannock and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Rev. John Schaffer officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 - 9:00 PM.
