Marjorie Ann Rupsky

Marjorie A. Rupsky of Falls died Sunday, December 19th at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Born on February 6, 1924 in Granby, MO she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Millie Anderson Smith. Marjorie had been employed as a seamstress in Lori’s Dress Factory in Falls for 30 years and was a member of the Falls United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Gay Rupsky, brothers Chester Smith, Hershel Smith She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Peter Rupsky; son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Lynn Rupsky of Hummelstown; daughter and son-in-law Lucinda and Roger Roa of Greeley, PA. Half brother Jack Smith of Reeds, MO., Half sisters Janice Lankford, Seneca, MO, Marilyn Smith of Carterville, MO ., grandchildren Dianne Wilmarth, Mark Rupsky, Stephanie Roa, great grandchildren Tyler Wilmarth, Jessica Wilmarth and Rubel Rupsky. Funeral services with be held Thursday at 4 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Joan Dodson of the Falls United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 pm until the time of the service.
