Marie Meador

Marie Meador of Tunkhannock, Pa. died Sunday, June 5 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Eckerman, Michigan on March 21, 1924 daughter of the late Arthur Delphus and Ethel Cecelia Hanson Shady. Prior to her retirement she worked as an LPN at the Carpenter Care Center in Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by her husband Kyle A. Meador. Surviving is a daughter and son in law Barbara and David Lees of Tunkhannock, brothers Clayton Shady of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Raymond Dale Shady of Tampa, Fla., sister Virginia Shady Meister of Marquette, Michigan, grandsons Scott and Shawn Lees of Tunkhannock. Interment was in Meador Family Cemetery, Summers Co., West Virginia. Arrangements by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
