Marcella Shook

Marcella T. Shook Marcella T. Shook of Tunkhannock died Wednesday July 1st in Tunkhannock. She was born in on January 8, 1926 daughter of the late Guy and Emily Frank Titman. She was a 1944 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and took business course at Wyoming Seminary. This led to employment in the business office of Commonwealth Telephone for several years. She later was employed at the Citizens National Bank on Warren Street. And then it became Peoples National Bank on Tioga St. in Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick ‘Fred” Shook to whom she married in 1963. They owned and operated Shook’s Hardware in Tunkhannock for several years. Marcella was an asset to any business with which she was associated with because of her pleasant demeanor and upbeat attitude. She will be missed by her relatives and Friends. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 7th at 10:30 in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock with Pastor Jon Buxton of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.
