She was deeply respected in her community, receiving numerous accolades for her contributions, including the School Directors Achievement Award in 2008, 2010, and 2018. She also earned recognition from the Luzerne Intermediate Unit Board of Directors and received the Certificate of Achievement from the Association for the Mentally Challenged Citizens (ARC) in both 2008 and 2009.
Lori found joy in the simple pleasures of life including riding horses, relaxing on the beach, but most importantly, being the best Oma to her grandchildren. They became the biggest joy in her life in recent years. She also took immense delight in watching their sporting events and other activities.
