Lois A. Talcott of Stark Rd Tunkhannock passed away on Monday September 26th at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. She born in Endicott NY on October 9, 1933 daughter of the late DeWilton and Cecelia Kochmer Sweet. She was a 1951 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary for the Wyoming County Housing Authority. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry B Talcott, son Lawrence V. Talcott a brother William Sweet, and a sister Connie Ayers. Surviving is a son Bradley and wife Becki of Tunkhannock, daughters Sheila and Kathleen Talcott both of Tunkhannock, daughter Wanda Evans of Harvey’s Lake, daughter-in-law Irene Talcott of Tunkhannock and a sister Marguerite Saylor of Tunkhannock, as well as six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with a mass of Christian Burial at 10 am from the Church of the Nativity BVM. Interment will be in Pieta Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
