Linda Reed

Linda B. Reed, 83, of Springville passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at her sister's home.

Born on November 5, 1941 in Springville, she is the daughter of the late Basil and Jean (Lewis) Button.

Linda dedicated a significant part of her professional life to helping others. She worked for the American Red Cross from 1998-2003, where she began her journey during a time of crisis, responding to the Lake Carey tornado.

Linda spent 20 years as an associate at Walmart, contributing her warmth and dedication in various roles between Pennsylvania and Florida.

She also volunteered at Bok Tower Gardens in Florida, where she shared her love for nature and community. In June of 2024, Linda returned to Pennsylvania after spending the last decade in Florida.

She is survived by sons, Kevin Olah and Gregory Olah; sisters, Betty Sondesky and husband Ron, Virginia Traver and husband Gary, Pamela Grick and husband Bill; grandchildren, Jared and McKenzie Olah and Justin Adams; 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by grandson, Aaron Olah.

Family and friends are invited to attend Linda's Graveside Service which will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM from Sunnyside Cemetery, 152 Sunnyside Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Reverend John Shaffer presiding.
