Linda R. Barletto

Linda R. Barletto of Meshoppany Ridge Road, Meshoppen died Thursday February 9, 2012, in Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was born in Woodbury, NJ on November 12, 1951 daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Cooke Fones. Linda was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School Swedesboro, NJ class of 1970, She was a veteran of the United States Navy where she worked as a Draftsman. in 1977 she received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Maywood College. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Dallas Post and the New Age Examiner in Tunkhannock in the Graphic Design Department. She was a former Girl Scout Leader of the Mehoopany Girl Scout Troop. Surviving is her husband of 39 years Steve Barletto, Brother Leonard Fones of Missouri, half-brother Harry Joe Stetser of Delaware. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15 at 1 PM from the Sheldon Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Rev Jean Swett Pastor of the Mehoopany Methodist Church. Interment will be in Jersey Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of Service.
