Keith Ayers

Keith Robert Ayers, 66, of Taylor passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at home. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Vickie Ayers.

Born on September 30, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN, he is the son of the late Earle and Nancy (Tarbox) Ayers.

He was a 1976 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. Following his education, he served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1976 to 1992. Keith made a significant mark in his career at Parodi Cigar Company, where he worked for over 30 years from 1991 until his retirement in 2021.

Keith had a profound love for the great outdoors; he found joy in hunting and fishing throughout his life. He particularly treasured the time spent ice fishing with his father.

His greatest pride came from his family, particularly in the time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him enormous joy and fulfillment.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Bobbie Wells; son, Christopher Ayers; sister, Kimberly Howell; brother, Kevin Ayers; grandchildren, Dylan and Adrian Wells, Ethan, Keryn, Lexi Keithline; great-grandson, Joey Wells; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.
