Joyce Lillie Truesdale

Joyce K. Truesdale, 69, of Tunkhannock died surrounded by her family on Friday in Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Bob Truesdale. Joyce, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Othella Farr Lillie, was born in Tunkhannock on January 31, 1943. After 10 years of dedicate service, Joyce retired from The Foley Law Firm in Scranton. She took great pleasure in tending to her flower gardens and decorating her lawn with whimsical ornaments. Joyce worshiped at the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church and was a devoted member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, Robert, and his wife, Denise, of Taylor; step-daughter, Melody Soltis of Lansdale, PA; sister, Margaret Lillie Wanick, and her husband, William, of South Abington Twp.; brother-in-law, William Truesdale, and his wife, Carol, of Fort Worth, TX; two step-grandchildren; a niece and nephew. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31 at 2:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Peter F. Geschwindner of the Tunkhannock United Methodist officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock.
