Jeffrey J. Guyette

Jeffrey J. Guyette 23, of Mehoopany died in Dunmore at the Hospice Community Care on Saturday January 12th. He was born August 15, 1989 son of James Guyette, of Mehoopany and Faye Headley, of Throop. Jeffrey lost a long battle with cancer on Saturday evening, but it didn’t stop him from enjoying life and having future dreams. He enjoyed taking flying lessons at the Sky Haven Airport in Tunkhannock. He had a passion for fighter jets with the hopes of becoming a fighter pilot. He enjoyed his trips to Myrtle Beach and had a love for Archeology and enjoyed cooking. Jeffrey’s life was cut short but didn’t stop him from touching many lives’. He will be sadly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents William and Ruth A. Guyette. In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by his brother Cody, of Mehoopany and sister Samantha Guyette, of Throop, maternal grandparents Gerald and Faye Gordon Mehoopany and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 noon from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock with Pastor Doug Mills of the Lovelton Community Bible Church presiding. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery Lake Winola. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
