Jean M. Mislevy of Tunkhannock died Friday September 23rd at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. She was born in Bradford County on March 29, 1925 daughter of the late William and Virginia Cook Shiffer.
Prior to her retirement she worked for over 20 years at Bocar Manufacturing in Tunkhannock. She was a member of the Eatonville United Methodist Church, Wyoming County Sr. Citizens, Red Hats and a charter member of the Tunkhannock Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Mislevy, daughter Virginia Kinsman, Grandson Harry Mislevy III , brothers William, Edward and James Shiffer, sisters Alice Vogrin and Lillian McKennas.
Surviving is a son Harry and wife Janice Mislevy, Tunkhannock, brother Glenn Shiffer of Tunkhannock, sisters Betty Fargo and Doris Solanick both of Tunkhannock, Jessie Barber of Mehoopany, grandsons Darren and Lori Mislevy,of Tunkhannock, Alan Kinsman Jr, Aarron Doty, of Laceyville, great granddaughter, Hannah Mislevy, great grandson, Tobi Kinsman.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 7, 2016 in the Eatonville United Methodist Church at 11 am with Pastor Betty Reilly. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
