Janet Paduck

Janet Paduck, 81, of Tunkhannock passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Geisinger CMC. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Louis Paduck.

Born on March 4, 1942 in Peckville, she is the daughter of the late John and Hannah (Vandenvort) Call.

Janet was a woman of great faith and took joy in singing Hymns. She was a member of Nativity BVM. Whether it was in church or gathering with family and friends, Janet's hymns became melodies of joy and comfort.

In addition to her love for music, Janet had a passion for cooking and baking. Her culinary skills were unmatched, especially when it came to preparing pasta, bread, and nut rolls. Family gatherings were always an occasion filled with the delicious aroma of freshly baked goods. Her recipes will continue to be cherished, passed down through generations.

Janet also found pure delight in cultivating beautiful flowers. Her garden bloomed with vibrant colors and delicate fragrances.

Janet's proudest accomplishments centered around her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her unconditional love knew no bounds as she created countless unforgettable memories during family gatherings, holidays, and special occasions.

Throughout her life journey, Janet exemplified kindness and compassion towards others. She possessed an unwavering ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved in her presence. Her gentle nature served as a guiding light to those fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Louis Paduck and wife Kim, Gary Paduck and wife Lisa, Michael Paduck and wife Heather; daughters, Lori Day and husband Loren, Tammy Piccolotti, Christine Robinson and husband Doug; brother, Barry Call; sister, Mary Lou Chrzan; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 9 siblings; grandson, Noah Angelo Piccolotti.

Family and friends are invited to attend Louis and Janet’s celebration of life service which will be held on Sunday November 19, 2023 at 12:30 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Rev. Joel Byer presiding.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service on Sunday.
