Jane M. Egliskis, of Tunkhannock passed away on Sunday at the Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Born in North Eaton on July 31, 1925. Daughter of the late J.A. and Mary Robinson MacCreary.
She was a 1943 graduate of the Tunkhannock High School, and a graduate of the Lackawanna Business College. She was the former director of the Wyoming County Red Cross and for several years she served as secretary to Judge Robert Trembath. She was also secretary for the Wyoming County Domestic Relations and several other county offices, and a member of the Russel Hill United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years William Egliskis, and brothers David and J.N. MacCreary.
Surviving are Daughters and Spouses, Willa and Scott Ross of Tunkhannock, Wenda and Ed Wenger of Chambersburg, PA. Sister; Mary and Robert Lejcar, Palmyra, PA. Grandchildren; Julie and Alan Jane, Erin and Joe Zilbauer, Tricia Ross, Sarah Wenger, Susan and Sander Hamilton. Great Grandchildren; Matthew, Kimberly, Benjamin, Nicole, and Megan Jayne. Isaac and Kate Zilbauer, Ryan and Dylan Hamilton. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 at 11AM from the Russell Hill United Methodist Church Prevost Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor Jerry Mattocks. Interment will be in North Eaton Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Church from 10AM until the time of service on Thursday.
