Helen A. Taylor (Peg), 81, of Monroe Twp., passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Allied Services Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Taylor, Sr.
Born in Tunkhannock on September 16, 1941. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Luce Hadsall.
She was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School. She was co-owner of Hadsall Personal Care Home which she ran with her mother for 40 years where she lovingly tended to many of the elderly of Wyoming County. She was a member of Eatonville United Methodist Church.
Helen loved spending time with her four cats and bird. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved life to the fullest.
She is survived by her sons, Jack and David Joyce; daughters, Vickie Corby and husband William, Deborah Herman and husband Randy; brother, Tom Hadsall and wife Marcia; grandchildren, Samantha Corby, Justin Corby, Katie Sherman and husband Kayden; great grandchildren, Eric William, Ashlynn Rose, Joshua James, Corey Chance, Athena Victoria.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Stella Webb and Della Joseph; brother, William Hadsall.
Family and friends are invited to attend Helen’s memorial service which will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Eatonville United Methodist Church, 44 Church Road Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor Tanya Olaviany presiding.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Helen’s name to Eatonville United Methodist Church, 44 Church Road Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
