Helen D. Goodman

Helen D. Goodman, 83, of Monroe Twp., died Friday, January 21, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. She was preceded in death by her husband Chester Goodman in 2004. Born in Evans Falls on March 16, 1938. She was the daughter of the late William and Mildred “Minnie” Whispell Shook. She was a member of the Methodist Church at Bowmans Creek. Helen is survived by her sister, Thelma Sturdevant and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son William D. Goodman in 2019; sisters, Martha Moyer, Florence Wilcox, Mary Shook, Dora Reed; brothers, Edward Shook and William Shook. Funeral services will be held at Orcutt Cemetery, Noxen in the spring.
