Gregory Barber

Gregory Scott Barber, 70, a lifelong member of Benton Township passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center. He fought an over 3-year battle with cancer.

Born on February 9, 1955, he is the son of the late Laverne and Norma (Stark) Barber.

Gregg worked on his family farm for many years. He later worked for Benton Township as a road maintenance foremen for over 35 years.

He is survived by a niece and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister.

A special thank you to the staff and nurses of Allied Skilled Nursing Center and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate care of Gregg.

As per Gregg's wishes there will be no formal services. Interment will be held in Chase Cemetery, Route. 407 Fleetville, PA at the convenience of his longtime friends Anthony and Debra Josephite.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gregg's memory can be made to the donor's favorite charity.
