Grace S. Lundy of Tunkhannock died Saturday in Mountain View Care Center in Scranton. She was born in Kingston, daughter of the late Walter J. and Helen Bloom Lundy.
Grace was a 1943 graduate of Kingston High School and a graduate of Wyoming Seminary. She was employed by the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. for several years. Returning to Pennsylvania and founding the Lundy Real Estate
Office, in Tunkhannock which she ran until her retirement.
Grace was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tunkhannock, Board member of Wyoming County Board of Assistance, Board member of Rural Health of N.E. Pa., Wyoming County Republican Women and the Tunkhannock Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #74.
Grace adored all animals, loved her family and Tunkhannock. Surviving is a sister Helen Dewar of Tunkhannock, brother and sister in law James W. and Frances Lundy of Tampa, Fla., nephew and his wife Randy W. and Robin Dewar of Anchorage, Alaska, nephew Walter J. Lundy of Tampa, Fla., and a great nephew Jeffrey H. Dewar of Anchorage, Alaska.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening at 8 pm with Rev.Vivian Bennett of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Tunkhannock. Private interment services will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock on Tuesday evening from 6 until the time of service.
