Glenn William Bohlander, 49, of Scranton Pennsylvania, passed from this world to heaven on September 18, 2014. Glenn was born on April 10, 1965 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. Glenn lived a full life despite his affliction with Muscular Dystrophy. Glenn was a 16 year resident of Allied Skilled Nursing Center, in Scranton where he lived a life surrounded by a host of wonderful staff members who became part of Glenns family.
Glenn was a 1983 graduate of Wyoming Area High School after which he attended classes at Keystone College. Glenn enjoyed visiting with friends, attending bible studies, reading, and working on the computer.
Glenn is survived by his only brother Scott R, his sister-in-law Joan P, his nieces Mollie and Jodie Bohlander. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Bohlander and his beloved Mother, Naomi Bohlander (nee Shaver).
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 23 at 10:00 AM from Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock interment will be held at St. Johns Cemetery in Drums, PA. A gathering of friends and family will be held at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
