Frederick M. Drake

Frederick M. Drake of Tunkhannock died Sunday in Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. He was born on Buffalo, NY on March 16, 1944 son of the Frederick M. and Alma Nelson Drake. Fred was a 1962 graduate of Dallas High School and an Air Force Veteran. For several years he was employed by the United States Post Office servicing in several different Postal Offices. He was the former owner of the Creekside Inn and the Highway Inn in Tunkhannock and a member of the Tunkhannock Pilgrim Holiness Church. Preceding him in death was his first wife Mary Ann Bartron Drake, step son Daniel Drake. Surviving is his wife of 9 years Cathy Fox Drake, step daughters, Elizabeth Sholes, Samantha Harney both of Tunkhannock, Kylie Fox of Dushore, brothers Gary Drake, Gale Drake, sister Virginia Cannon all of Maryland, Mother in law Christine Salsman of Dushore. At Mr. Drakes request there will be no funeral services. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery at the convenience of the Family. Arrangements, by the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Tunkhannock.
