Frank D. Tomlinson of Dallas, PA passed away October 12, 2016 peacefully, surrounded by his family. He celebrated his 99th birthday in September. Frank was married to the late Dorothea White Tomlinson. Before moving to the mountains, Frank and Dorothea raised their family in Levittown, PA, where he built his house on the hill of Levittown Parkway.
Frank was born in Morrisville, PA to the late Frank and Lottie Tomlinson. He was preceded in death by his brothers Russell, Harry, William and Paul and his sister Catherine Maguire. He is survived by his three sons, Paul and his wife Linda, Joseph and his wife Debra, and Daniel and his wife Barbara. Frank had 5 grandchildren that he adored, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Shelly, Sharon and Andy, 8 great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friend Dorothy Rhines and her family.
Frank was the Vice President of the Morrisville Bank where he worked for 39 years. He was a Charter Member of the Falls Township Lion’s Club and the Falls Rod and Gun Club. After his retirement he enjoyed the time he spent at his mountain home. He liked doing carpentry around the cabin and working on the stone walls. He was also a good cabinet maker. He was proud that his 3 sons had served in the Armed Forces and they had professions where they worked with their hands.
A memorial service will be held on November 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Fallsington United Methodist Church, Lacrosse Street, Fallsington, PA 19054. With Rev. Joe Martin officiating.
