Emma G. Spence

Emma G. Spence of Tunkhannock, formerly of Allentown, died on Saturday, May 17th in the Golden Living Personal Care Home in Tunkhannock. She was born in Thompsontown, on August 12, 1923, daughter of the late Clair and Sarah Roland Spicher. She was an avid walker and participated in bowling leagues for many years before moving to Tunkhannock. Emma was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Robert Spence. Surviving are one son: Edward R. and wife Nancy Spence of Fogelsville, one daughter: Susan A. Guilford and husband Brian of Tunkhannock, one sister: Helen Groff of Lititz, six grandchildren, Christopher and Kristen Spence of Allentown, Amber and Andrew Franko of Falls, and Robert and Kayla Guilford of Factoryville, and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Thursday May 22, at 1:00 pm from the Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 5637 Street Rd., Kirkwood, PA. Interment will be in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Kirkwood.
