Elizabeth Ann Hall, 86, of South Auburn passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Village at Greenbriar, Dallas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William Hall.
Born on November 19, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, she is the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Naugle) Kupinewicz.
She was a graduate of Meyers High School. Elizabeth embarked on a fulfilling career at Tyler Memorial Hospital for 25 years.
She had a passion for sewing and gardening, finding joy and creativity in nurturing plants and creating beautiful garments. Her love for flowers was evident to all who knew her, as she could often be found tending to her garden with care and affection.
One of Elizabeth's proudest accomplishments was being a devoted member of St. Joachim's Church, where she found comfort in her faith and community.
She is survived by sons, William Hall and wife Kathy, Jeffrey Hall and fiancée Leah Ross; daughter, Sandra Burgio and husband Steven; sister, Margaret Staskiel; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandsons, Andrew Blake Wildoner and Brendan Tyler Hall.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at the Village of Greenbriar for their care of Elizabeth the past few years.
Family and friends are invited to attend Elizabeth's funeral services which will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00AM from the Sheldon Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Reverend Patrick Albert presiding. Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Meshoppen.
A viewing will be held from 9:00AM until the time of service on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 30 E.D. Preate Drive, Suite 108, Moosic, PA 18507.
