Edward Ruben Kimble 89 of Tunkhannock died Sunday January 27, 2013 in the Community Medical Center in Scranton. He was born in Clarks Summit on February 6, 1923 son of the late Lee B. and Myrtle Kettle Kimble.
Edward served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy in WW2 and prior to his retirement he was Executive Vice President of Tasty Baking Company (Tastykake). He was a loving husband and the greatest grandpa.
Preceding him in death was his wife Helen Cimoch Kimble and a daughter Martha Sears.
Surviving are sons Edward R. Kimble of Tunkhannock, James L. Kimble of Glenolden, Pa., and Thomas Fromanger of Mississauga, Canada. Grandchildren Ryan and Kimberly Kimble of Hampton, Va., Nicole Cassidy and Mark Kilroy of Prospect Park, Pa. and Louis Fromanger of Mississauga, Canada. Three great grandchildren, Aiden Michael Kimble age 7, Mikaela Aileen Kilroy age 3 and Andrea Claire Kilroy 9 months. Also loved in his heart were Billy Kapinski and Kimberly Fiscus. No services will be held per Edwards request; he will be missed dearly by family and friends. He was read his last rights and anointed by a Catholic Priest as he was led to heaven by angels.
