Dwayne M. LaValley

Dwayne M. LaValley, 53, of Benson Hollow Lane Tunkhannock, passed away gently at his home surrounded by his loving family on June 17th after a brave battle with cancer. Dwayne is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Heather Owens LaValley and his children, Tom and wife Melissa, Cody, Sadie and fiancé Brandon Adams, Nathan and Nicholas all of Tunkhannock. Dwayne also has two beautiful granddaughters, Graycin and Kylee who were the lights of his life. Also surviving are three brothers, Harry Jr. of NC, Steven of NJ, and Raymond of Tunkhannock Dwayne’s in-laws Tom and Judy Owens were especially dear to him. Dwayne had two goddaughters, Olivia St Clair and Stephanie Houser of Tunkhannock, and one godson Dagan Owens of FL. Dwayne also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marguerite Hilbert LaValley. The main joys in Dwayne’s life were family, friends, being outdoors, wood working and of course his beloved beagle “Bocephus”. A celebration of Dwayne’s life will be held at the family’s convenience.
