Doris Shauger

Doris “Jean” Shauger Jean Shauger of Tunkhannock died Saturday evening in the Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She was born in Laceyville on August 14, 1922 daughter of the late James and Florence Brown Tinna. She was preceded in death by her husband Morris L. Shauger, brothers Harold, Earl and Kenneth Tinna. Surviving are sons, Richard Setser of Beaumont, Robert Remington of Pensacola, Fla., daughters Donna Morrison of Montrose, Deborah Shotwell of Tunkhannock, brother Tim Tinna of Mehoopany, sister Lola Remington of Tunkhannock Helen Wells and Margaret Carney both of Meshoppen, Ruth Cook of Tunkhannock, Frances Mallory of Lecanto, Fla., 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with the Rev. Kenneth Trexler Pastor of the Tunkhannock Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8.
