Doris J. Clark of Tunkhannock died Thursday evening at Tyler Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia on September 14, 1953 daughter of Mary Ann and the late Walter Keppard of Philadelphia and the late Beatrice Ferris Mallia of Lowell, MI.
Doris was the most giving and selfless person. To all that were touched by her, there will forever be a void in our hearts.
She was a graduate of Dobbins Vocational Tech High class of 1971 and a member of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church. For many years she was employed by Tunkhannock School District as a cafeteria aide. She was known to many of the students as their "other" mom.
Surviving is her soul mate and husband of 43 years Walter Clark, daughters Kelly and Joseph Mosluk of Tunkhannock, Tama Cook and companion Justin Swierczynski of Tunkhannock,brothers Walter Keppard Jr., of Philadelphia, David Thurston and wife Missy of Lakeland, Fla., sister Judy Walburn and husband Scott of Tunkhannock. Grandchildren and the absolute lights of her life, Steven Bognatz, Rylee Bartron, Sami Bognatz, Broden Cook and Erik Swierczynski. As well as Aunts, Uncles, many cousins, nieces, nephews and Andy Cook of Tunkhannock who she raised most of his life. Also her best little companion, her chihuahua, Cisco.
Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 7 pm from the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church with Pastor Rick Wormer Officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the church from 5 pm until the time of service. In leiu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at the P&G credit union.
