Dolores G. Trycinski

Dolores G. Trycinski of Dalton died on Saturday November 8, 2014 in Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years John F. Trycinski. She was born in Greene New York on January 25, 1927 daughter of the late Leon C. and Ethel M. Harrington Gibson. Dolores was a 1945 graduate of Greene High School, Greene New York, and graduated from the from the Methodist Hospital school of Nursing in Brooklyn, NY. She was the directress of nurses at the Green Ridge Nursing home, in Scranton, PA for many years, Prior to her retirement she also worked at St. Michaels School Hoban Heights. She was a devoted member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church. She spent her retirement years traveling abroad and in the states. She loved nature and enjoyed hiking trips with friends. She is survived by her son John and Mary AnneTrycinski, of Nazareth, Pa, and daughters and husbands Jeane and C.R. Wood, of Elsinore Utah, and Donna and Ron Ross, of Tunkhannock, Pa, sister Janet Kline, of Deming, New Mexico, 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, November 13th at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
