David L. Cook

David L. Cook, 75 of Tunkhannock passed away at his home. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Trudy Moss Cook. Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 15, 1946 he was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor Sands Cook. He was a 1964 graduate of Lake Lehman High School. He was a member of the Community Bible Church, Tunkhannock. Dave was a technician at Procter and Gamble for 30 years. He loved hunting deer and turkey. He was the family’s fix it all mechanic. Dave enjoyed cutting wood and working in the woods with his John Deere tractor. He was an honest, caring and loving man who was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and God and served faithfully at Tunkhannock Baptist and Community Bible Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Kevin Cook and wife Jamie of Tunkhannock; daughter, Kelly Fry and husband Travis of Tunkhannock; grandchildren, Desirae, Karyn, Charlee, Colton, Noah, Nevin, and Nella. Family and friends are invited to attend David’s funeral service which will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 11:00 am from the Community Bible Church, 327 State Rt 92 S, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor David Stuckey presiding. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am until time of service on Wednesday.
