Charles Marcy

Charles A. Marcy of Tunkhannock died at his home on Tuesday April 15, 2014. He was born in Tunkhannock on November 24, 1935 son of the late Charles O and Ada Allen Marcy. Chuck was a 1953 graduate of Tunkhannock High School. He was a member of IBEW local 1319 and for several years he worked as a lineman for several electric power company’s. A member of Nicholson Lodge #438, and various other Masonic organizations. Preceding him in death were Brothers Jack and Francis ‘Bubs” Marcy, sisters Emily R. Wilcox and Irene Smurkowski. Surviving his is wife and companion of 35 years Dorothea Watkins Marcy, sons Charles R. III and Todd Marcy of Scranton, daughter Karen A. Borden of Tunkhannock, 2 grandchildren, a great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
