Carolyn Decker

Carolyn Jane Decker, 62, of Tunkhannock passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Mountain Top Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Evans.

Born on October 15, 1962 in Meshoppen, she is the daughter of the late John and Marie (Smith) Decker, II.

She was a 1980 graduate of Cherry Hill High School in New Jersey. She had a deep love for animals, especially her pets, which brought her much joy throughout her life.

Carolyn also enjoyed visiting the beautiful Jersey Shore and had a passion for listening to live music, making lasting memories with friends and family.

In addition, she was a proud member of the Mehoopany United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, Ryan Decker; brothers, John Decker, Jr. and Thomas Decker; grandchild, Dryden Decker.

She is preceded in death by her son, Zachary Evans.

Funeral services will be held privately.
