Carol S. Kelly

Carol S. Kelly, 78, of Tunkhannock Pennsylvania, died Tuesday October 1st at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. She was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on July 8, 1935, daughter of the late John and Helen Lambert Schweinsberg. Carol graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh in 1953, the University of Pittsburgh in 1957, and taught in several school districts before retiring from the Community College of Allegheny County. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard L. Kelly, and her siblings Joan and William Schweinsberg. Surviving are children Michael and wife Shellie Kegerreis Kelly of Tunkhannock, Barbara and husband John Haller of Pittsburgh, and Stephen and wife Amanda Sparks Kelly of Pittsburgh, and grandchildren Hannah, Samuel, Erin, Caitlin, and Jessica. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 4th at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Tunkhannock.
