Following his service in the military, he had a very successful and rewarding career at the Elizabeth New Jersey General Motors Plant, where he was fondly remembered as a co-worker always willing to help others when needed. After retiring he moved back to Tunkhannock, where he enjoyed the abounding wildlife and nature surrounding his and Cindy’s home. Byron enjoyed the simple pleasures of life – feeding the birds, observing the deer and other animals that frequented his yard and working around the house.
