Bonnie Rae Smith

Bonnie Rae Kipp Smith, 70, of Lovelton passed away on September 1, 2012 at home following a brief illness. Born in Rochester NY on December 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Loren J. and Eleanor Gowan Kipp. She attended Wyalusing Valley Jr/Sr High School and graduated in 1960. Bonnie worked briefly at a dress factory before becoming a homemaker. She raised five children with her husband Don. Bonnie enjoyed the simple things in life like sitting on the porch watching the flowers bloom, enjoying the wildlife that came into the yard, and especially watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. She was a member of the Lovelton Community Bible Church for many years. Bonnie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald W. Smith Sr. Surviving are her children Bryan Smith, Diane and Frank Moreck, Billie Jo and Tim Fassett, Donald and Deanna Smith Jr., and Bradly Smith Sr; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; Brothers Loren Kipp and Russell and Loretta Kipp; sisters Joan Shaffer, Jean and Dean Stang, and Lynette and Dan Walters as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday September 4th at the Lovelton Bible Church, Lovelton, PA.
