Blake R. Elder, 23, of Lake Winola passed away April 16,2021 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Scranton on February 9, 1998, he was the son of the late Kane Elder and survived by his mother Stephanie Moreck-Elder.
Blake was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed fly fishing, making his own rod and tying his own flies. He loved working for Gins Tavern in Factoryville, where he truly was part of the family. Blake had a contagious smile and fantastic personality, always quick with his wit and making others bad days brighter. He had the ability to make you laugh out loud no matter what the circumstance. He loved listening to music, sitting for hours just jamming to his favorite tunes. His favorite candy was kit-kat’s, and he would always leave the wrappers behind. His favorite saying and the one he will leave behind with all of us is… “LOVE ONE ANOTHER.”
In addition to his mother, he is survived by long-time girlfriend, Rhianna Brown; maternal grandmother, Mary Lund; maternal step-grandmother, Tina Moreck; paternal grandparents, Curtis M. and Karen Elder; uncles, Matthew Elder and William Moreck; aunt, Stacy Osborne and husband Andy; cousins, Kael, Kylie, and Colton Osborne.
